Why should every Victorian have a VECTRA scan?

Our VECTRA scan & assessment is free and takes a baseline avatar of every mole & lesion you have and how it can change over time.

How is this better than a normal mole check?

It's more reliable for tracking changes in your skin. The VECTRA WB 360's AI-assisted software automatically compares your current scan to your last one, highlighting any new moles or subtle growth/change that the human eye might miss.

How long does the 3D imaging process take?

The full body capture takes only a few seconds of actual photographic time. The images are stored securely, allowing the doctor to utilise them for accurate remote assessment during telehealth appointments.

Will I need a post-scan appointment?

Yes. The images are first reviewed by a medical practitioner. Your subsequent follow-up consultation with a dermatologist—which may be in-person or via telehealth—will focus on discussing the findings and determining the best monitoring plan.

Is the VECTRA scan covered by Medicare?

Our free initial VECTRA scan is a community-focused skin check. Medicare typically excludes skin scanning and there is no reimbursement for it.
